Radiology Permit Holder Statistics
|Total # DANB Certified Assistants:||0|
|Total # Graduates of Accredited Dental Assisting Programs:||0|
|Total # Both DANB Certified AND Accredited Graduates:||0|
NOTE: This statistical information is based SOLELY on currently renewed licenses and permits. No voided licenses or permits have been included in these numbers. Furthermore, a specialist may hold more than one specialty license.
These statistics are based upon the physical practice locations for dentists and mailing addresses for dental hygienists and radiology permit holders. A dentist may have more than one practice location (satellite practice) in the same district and/or county; however, for statistical purposes, that dentist is listed only once for the same district and/or county. Furthermore, a dentist may have a primary practice location in one district and one or more satellite practices in different districts. In other words, a dentist is listed in each district and/or county wherein that dentist has provided a physical practice location to the Board. Dental hygienists and radiology permit holders may have out-of-state mailing addresses and, thus, not be included in the statistical information for a Mississippi District or County; however, these dental hygienists and radiology permit holders actually may practice for licensed Mississippi dentists within the State of Mississippi.
The statistical information detailing “Active Licenses” means the dentist, dental hygienist, or radiology permit holder has a currently renewed license or permit (not voided) and practices within the State of Mississippi. However, pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. § 73-9-19, “licensed dentists or dental hygienists actively practicing at a veterans hospital, federal government facility or residency graduate school program at the time of renewal” also are categorized as “Active.” The statistical information detailing “Inactive Licenses” means the dentist, dental hygienist, or radiology permit holder has a currently renewed license or permit (not voided) and does NOT practice within the State of Mississippi.
